Train de Nuit, Chanel No. 5

Okay guys, I've already posted a review today, but I can't resist to show you these brautiful, beautiful videos and images as well. Yesterday during a commercial break, the brand new Chanel No. 5 commercial/short film aired for the first time and it took my breath away!!! Before I let you enjoy the material, let me also say that May the 5th, the day the film first aired, has been designated by the city of New York as Chanel No. 5 Day and for this occasion a portion of Fifth Avenue will be renamed AVENUE N˚5 for the week. How cool is that?

The short film itself:

This amazing video is going around on almost all the channels and gets so much airtime it is amazing...

Mothersday is in the air!

I just love the ending, with the double 'C' design in the floor, that is just so beautiful, i bet there are a lot of people who would like to have that in their bathroomfloor...

Christine I am WITH you! I want to visit Istanbul and yes, getting urges to buy Chanel No. 5 as well. Been flirting with Eau Premier for a while now, but since seeing the commercial I am contemplating the extrait, LOL! As for Istanbul.. I was hoping to visit this summer, but I am already going to London for the Sniffa and later to Greece to visit my parents so it is likely going to be economically unviable...

Z, yeah, not only this one, but so many perfume commercials all of a sudden! This one is trully the best one however :)

Wow, that is just stunning! So romantic. I loved the image of the bottle reflecting on the wall of the train compartment. I can't wear No. 5, but this film is certainly a great tribute to an icon - and Audrey Tautou is so exquisite.

I looooove the image of the bottle passing on the wall behind her as she sleeps! I love that even though there are no words spoken, in such a short film you get so much meaning.. How he falls in love with her at the very least partly because of her perfume... how she waits for him, her anguish... How her perfume haunts him and how it travels outside the window, coming to him at night... I am IN LOVE with this film!!

*slightly obsessed*

Oh I love this- I am in heaven! And I can't wait for the film. Amelie is my favorite movie of all time so I cannot resist the combination of Audrey Tatou and Jean-Pierre Jeunet. And trains! - they are sooo romantic (If you're in first class, bien sur:)
